​​Our Story: 5 Star Hospitality to Your Home

MyOddJobs.ie was built from two very different paths that fit together perfectly. Latifah grew up in Tralee and built her career in hospitality — earning a Bachelors in Hospitality Management and gaining 5-star experience at Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny and The Plaza Hotel in Kerry. Alongside that, she ran her own cleaning business, Latifah’s Labour, and provided trusted services to homes and local venues like Siamsa Tíre. Shane, born and raised in Dublin, is entrepreneurial by nature — a people-person with the classic Irish gift of the gab. He never followed the traditional route, but instead built experience through self-directed projects, ecommerce ventures, and an instinctive ability to connect with people and solve problems on the spot.

Life brought them together in Waterford City, where they launched their first business in short-term rentals — managing every turnover, repair, guest interaction, and last-minute issue themselves. In February 2025 they founded Impius Investments & Realty, expanding into multiple service-driven ventures rooted in reliability, hospitality, and hands-on experience. MyOddJobs.ie is the natural evolution of that journey: a service built on real work, real standards, and real people who genuinely understand what customers need — because they’ve lived it.

FOUNDERS' NOTE
We built My Odd Jobs from real experience — looking after our own homes, our rentals, and all the bits and pieces that crop up when life is busy. We know the feeling of needing a hand and having no one reliable to call. That’s why we created the service we always wished existed: honest, professional, and easy to deal with.
