MyOddJobs was created to take the stress out of the everyday jobs that can build up and eat into your time. We started small, working in homes and rentals across Dublin, and built our reputation on showing up, doing things properly and treating every home with care. Today, we are have local teams in Dublin, Wicklow, and Waterford with further plans of expansion nationwide. Our standards are shaped by 5-star hospitality and real hands-on experience. Every job we take on is held to the dame level of care and detail.
Our Story

Meet The Founders
MyOddJobs.ie was built by Latifah and Shane to make cleaning, home maintenance and everyday jobs easier to book, manage and trust.
The idea grew from their hands-on experience in short-term rentals in Waterford City managing guest turnovers, cleaning standards, repairs, communication and last-minute issues themselves.

Today, MyOddJobs.ie is shaped by hospitality, hard work and the belief that getting help around your home should be simple, reliable and stress-free.

Latifah grew up in Tralee, Co. Kerry, and built her early career around hospitality, service and high standards. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, she gained experience in respected Irish hospitality settings including Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny and The Plaza Hotel in Kerry. Before MyOddJobs.ie, Latifah also ran her own cleaning business, Latifah’s Labour, providing trusted cleaning and support services to homes and local venues, including Siamsa TÃre. Her background brings together 5-star hospitality, practical cleaning experience and a strong eye for detail — all of which shape the standards behind MyOddJobs.ie today.

Shane was born and raised in Dublin and has always had an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to work. A natural people-person with the classic Irish gift of the gab, Shane connects easily with people and has a strong instinct for solving problems as they come up. Rather than following a traditional route, Shane built his experience through self-directed projects, ecommerce ventures and real-world problem solving. His strengths are practical thinking, communication and getting things moving — qualities that now sit at the heart of MyOddJobs.ie’s local, helpful and down-to-earth approach.

FOUNDERS' NOTE
We built My Odd Jobs from real experience — looking after our own homes, our rentals, and all the little jobs that crop up when life is busy. We know the feeling of needing a hand and having no one reliable to call. That’s why we created the service we always wished existed: honest, professional, and easy to deal with.
Thanks a million for choosing us — we genuinely appreciate the trust you place in us, and we’ll always look after your home like it’s our own.
